4They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. 5Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. 6Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.

4Some people had wandered in the desert lands. They found no city to live in. 5They were hungry and thirsty. They were discouraged. 6In their misery they cried out to the Lord. And he saved them from their troubles.
